Lisa Takahashi Ltd. Ed. Print Window View, Tamagawa

Lisa Takahashi is a Somerset-based artist, who makes linocut prints, oil paintings and watercolours.
Drawing on her Japanese heritage, she was keen to explore the idea of a new view of Mount Fuji that Hokusai wouldn’t have seen himself – from an airplane.

Lisa was inspired by this view of Fuji when flying in to Tokyo and has incorporated details like the plane window frame and taken inspiration from Hokusai’s colour palette of Prussian Blue, Vermillion and a fresh green.

This special, bespoke print has been created by Lisa, by hand, in an edition of 50 which are all hand signed and numbered.
