Swedish designer-illustrator Lisa Edoff has created this bespoke silk scarf exclusively for Dulwich Picture Gallery, to celebrate the Tove Jansson exhibition. Taking inspiration from two of Jansson’s most atmospheric paintings, Mysterious Landscape and Midwinter Wolves, Lisa has named her whimsical work ‘The Wolves of Intohimo’ – intohimo meaning ‘passion’ or ‘fervour’ in Finnish. Nordic forest foliage and berries surround this magical scene, where furry friends and foes howl at the mystical Northern sky. Working from her home studio in Stockholm, Lisa is inspired by folklore and pop culture, mixing Scandinavian retro with a touch of British eccentricity.
